Theatre!

Theatre! Theatre! To go to the theatre! We often hear this word "theatre", but we don`t know, what it is in its sense, what a real goal of the theatre? The theatre is one of the flows of art in which feelings, thoughts and emotions of the author (creator or an artist) are transferred to the spectator or to the group of spectators by means of the actions of the actor or a group of actors. F. Shiller once said that "the theatre develops in front of us a panorama of human sufferings". According to the types of actions of the actor during the performance, the theatre can be one of the following types: drama, opera, musical, ballet, operetta, puppet theatre, etc.

Characters (in the beginning of the 20th century) told about the higher educational mission in art, and about the fact that person can`t exist without any society. Any work of art has its ideology - a complex of ideas, representations, various values (philosophical, or primitive, etc.). B. Brecht has developed a universal concept of the theatre, the dramaturgic theory (before the 20-th century Aristotle was the father of the principles of dramatic art. Theatre is the act of watching the sins of other people. When people went out of the theatre, they felt some kind of a relief). B. Brecht speaks about the empathy illusion is harmful, it is not necessary for people. Accordind to the idea of B. Brecht: when we sympathize, there is a waste of time, therefore theatre should refuse to form the installations that were made before and it should be "engaged" into the ideological judgment of the events happen around us. B. Brecht thinks that the theatre should teach us think the matters over. The spectator should not forget even for a minute that there is a play in front of him. It is possible to agree with B. Brecht, and to add something to the understanding of the theatre.

In the 20-th century there was a gap between the intellectual development of mankind, the development of technologies and science and the old forms in art, but it is impossible to speak about decline in art. Someone considers that the theatre in the 21-st century is not so necessary, the theatre dies and it is not needed any more, but, believe me, the theatre lived, the theatre lives and the theatre will live in this or that form - there is a reconsideration of values in our society, there are new tendencies in a theatrical art, but it is impossible to speak about decline, and about theatre`s death in particular. Simply there is a theatre today not in that form in which it was imagined by Aristotle though the element of the truth in Aristotle`s ideas still exist - why not to view the theatre and its performances as an act of watching the drawbacks in our society, with only one reservation that the theatre is not a mirror, but a magnifying glass of the modern world.

When the cinema was invented, it was possible to state that the theatre has turned to a chamber show. Maybe we need to think that all our tastes are different? Dear friends, those who do not love theatre, maybe, it is better to stop criticizing the higher art?! The success of the theatre depends not only on the actors and actresses, but also on the spectators.

"Why do you go to the theatre?" It is an interesting question and rather difficult at the same time. Really what for? Maybe this is like a silly question, when you want to ask "What we live for?", "what we learn for?" etc. And the answer to this question can be only one - a human being has been born and the needs rule the human, so, think that the theatre is one of such needs.

The youth finds in theatre something especial (I can say this on my own experience), we receive inexplicable pleasure from the performance at the theatre! The theatre has an original aura of highly intelligent action. The true art attract people - for reception of a sincere pleasure, it is as with books, when you receive an aesthetic pleasure while reading this or that book. At theatre it is possible to receive a charge of emotions. The theatre is a huge culture which was created by years (from antiquity to the present). The theatre is a life, a life of actors. Actors do not simply play their roles; they "live" the lives of the characters. The most important thing in the play of the actor, in my opinion, is not to revel in emotions, it is necessary to play a role as if you live a life of this or that character.

The theatrical art is turned to intelligent people - to people with a keen intelligence. The theatre will always have an advantage over cinema and TV as actors and spectators directly communicate with each other. Such adialogue can`t be replaced by the TV!
